12th-place finish in World 100 prelim at Eldora Speedway
Tyler Erb and the Best Performance Motorsports team made the short trip to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon to kick off the 54th annual World 100 weekend with the Castrol FloRacing Night in America event.
With 82 Super Late Models amassed, Erb grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race before climbing three positions in the 50-lap feature to finish 12th.
With the field inflated to 107 cars the following night for prelims set for Thursday and Friday, Tyler came in 14th in Thursday’s preliminary but wasn’t able to transfer into Friday's preliminary.
Erb’s bid for the $57,000-to-win World 100 on Saturday ended with an early exit in his consolation race.
