Charging Erb drives to fourth in Silver Dollar Nationals at Huset's
Tyler Erb trekked west on Thursday to pilot the Best Performance Motorsports No. 1 Late Model at Huset’s Speedway (Brandon, S.D.) for the 14th annual Silver Dollar Nationals.
With prelims on Thursday and Friday setting the grid for Saturday’s main event, Erb followed up an 11th-place finish in the opener with a 15th-place outing on Friday.
Pinned on the seventh row for Saturday’s $50,000-to-win Silver Dollar Nationals finale, Tyler marched forward nine positions in the 80-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He chased Devin Moran, Bobby Pierce, and Brandon Sheppard to the checkers with Tim McCreadie coming in fifth.
