Erb moves forward in LOLMDS events at FCR and FALS
With Wednesday’s and Thursday's Castrol FloRacing Night in America events falling to wet weather, Best Performance Motorsports and Tyler Erb kicked off the weekend on Friday with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) for the annual Farmer City 74.
Forced to use a provisional into the $25,000-to-win opener, Erb marched through the field 16 spots in the 74-lap affair to register an 11th-place finish.
On Saturday, Tyler had to rely on a provisional again into the feature after getting squeezed into the wall in his heat. With a $30,000 top prize up for grabs, Erb passed 11 cars to cap off the weekend with a 14th-place outing.
