On Wednesday evening as the remainder of the week became World of Outlaws Case Construction Late Model Series sanctioned, Erb came in fourth in his heat before placing second in his B-Main. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 23rd, Tyler advanced through the field 12 spots in the 40-lapper to finish 11th.
In a field of 58 cars on Thursday, Erb’s sixth-place finish in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the show, Tyler recorded a third-place finish.
After failing to qualify for Thursday and Friday’s feature, Tyler followed up a fourth-place finish in his heat on Saturday with a consolation victory. Starting the $10,000-to-win DIRTcar Nationals finale in 21st, Erb faded two positions to place 23rd.
