Runner-up finish at Randolph County Raceway

With the first two events of the tripleheader weekend rained out, Best Performance Motorsports and Tyler Erb traveled to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday for the 15th annual CMH Diamond Nationals. In a field of 34 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Tyler came in sixth in his heat before grabbing the third-and-final transfer spot in his B-Main. On Sunday, Erb headed to Randolph County Raceway (Moberly, Mo.) for the inaugural Weiner Nationals. Following the second fastest lap in time trials, Tyler secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a heat race victory. Holding his spot for all 30 laps, Erb notched a runner-up finish, which came behind Mike Marlar. Jason Papich, Gordy Gundaker, and Scott Crigler rounded out the Top-5 finishers.

Tyler remains in sixth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
