May 31, 2019 - Best Performance Motorsports Invades Mississippi
1 Mother Nature finally cut the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) some slack and allowed the tour to return to action on Thursday night at Mississippi's Magnolia Motor Speedway. The opening round of the Geico Clash at The Mag presented by Big River Steel drew 39 entries to the 3/8-mile oval. Tyler finished third in his heat race to earn the 10th-starting spot for the 25-lap, preliminary feature.

Erb picked up a few spots early in the event before passing became difficult on the slick, gumbo service. He went on to cross the finish line in the seventh position.

Saturday night's $15,000-to-win finale found Tyler locked into the seventh-starting spot via his performances on Thursday and Friday evening. He competed in the Top-10 throughout the 100-lap affair before crossing the finish line in the sixth-position for the second-straight night.

May 26, 2019 - Tyler Erb Finishes Fifth in Florence Speedway Special Event
1 The team was originally slated to return to competition with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) over the weekend with the annual Lucas Oil Show Me 100 at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri). Unfortunately, storm damage early in the week forced the event to be postponed.

As a result, Tyler took his Best Performance Motorsports No. 1 New Point Lighting and Design/ XR1 Rocket Chassis/ Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle on Saturday night at Kentucky's Florence Speedway. The $5,000-to-win event drew a field of 38 entries to the half-mile oval.

Via heat race action, Tyler locked into the 18th-starting spot for the 50-lap finale. Throughout the feature he progressively marched his way forward. by the time that the checkered flag dropped he was credited with a fifth-place finish behind Darrell Lanigan, Zach Dohm, Mike Marlar and Kent Robinson.

Sunday night's scheduled event at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) fell victim to rain.

May 16, 2019 - Tyler Erb and Best Performance Motorsports Get Back to Business with LOLMDS
1 Thursday night found the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) returning to action for the first time in over a month on Thursday night. Thirty-five competitors entered the event, and a fourth-place finish transferred Tyler to the TruAcre 50, where he started in the 13th position. Atop a challenging surface Erb made a late-race pit stop on lap-37 before ultimately recording a 14th-place finish in the final rundown.

Friday night found the LOLMDS contigent at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa), where a $12,000 top prize was up for grabs. With 26 entries on hand, Tyler finished second in his heat race, which locked him into the fourth-starting spot for the 50-lap, Truck Country 50.

In a feature that was plagued by multiple cautions for flat tires, Tyler raced to a runner-up finish behind race winner, Jonathan Davenport. Devin Moran, Josh Richards, and Tim McCreadie completed the Top-5 finishers.

Saturday night's NAPA North Star Nationals at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) fell victim to rain.

May 11, 2019 - Tyler Erb Rallies to Finish Seventh in Farmer City 74

Erb's latest event found him trekking to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Illinois), where he entered the annual Farmer City 74. The Schaeffer's Oil Mid America Racing Series (MARS) event drew a field of 52 entries to the 1/4-mile oval, and a heat-race win positioned Tyler in the third-starting spot for the $10,000-to-win feature.

He raced in the Top 5 early in the event before having to make a trip to the pit area. He rejoined the tail of the field and got back to work. Throughout the reminader of the 74-lap feature he clawed his way back to a seventh-place finish.

Saturday night's FALS Frenzy event at Fairbury Speedway fell victim to rain.
